Grinding steel ball is a kind of media be used in ball mill & SAG mill in minng industries , to help crush & mill ore materials. Forged steel ball is the alloy grinding media by forged or hot-rolled processing. This alloy material have B2 /B3 /BU /B6 grade. Forged ball have good toughness, Impact Value more than 12 J /cm , was usually be used to SAG mill and Ball mill which mill diameter size more than 6 meters.

Lower breakage rate
Because the Forged steel ball make by round bar from large steel factory, so the raw material round bar can be keep best quality. And manufactured with Forging and Hitting, this kind steel ball will have good toughness, product’s Impact Value more than 12 J /cm, can be used to large diameter size (more than 8 m) with low breakage rate.
High hardness
Φ125 mm forged steel ball after heat treatment, ball surface hardness can reach to HRC 58-60, and Ball core hardness can reach to HRC 56-60. So the grinding media comsumption will be less than others.

How to select right type /size and quantity of grinding media?
1.Follow the mill size
In general, The mill machine have larger diameter size , input raw ore with larger size and get higher grinding efficiency, need to select large size grinding ball. When the mill diameter size more than 6 meters, the grinding ball breakage rate will be higher, that should be selecting the grinding ball with high toughness, that need your grinding media supplier make special manufacturing for you.
2.First installation loading grindng media size proportioning
Ball mill & SAG mill first installation , grinding ball quantity should be 35-45% of whole ball mill loading weight, to Follow mill speed / input mineral size /output size and grinding efficiency to adjust grinding media loading weight. First installation will loading 3-5 different size grinding ball, and middle size ball quantity should me more than 50%, thereafter, add large size ball quantity follow the grind media consumption.

How to get a price ?
Please send all informations of your required (you can choose item on RFQ list )to us by E-mail, we will check and send commerical offer or Proforma Invoice to you within 3 working days.
How to get sample test report ?
We can arrange to send sample to The third party testing agency such as SGS to test sample, then we will send sample test report to you.
Or we can send sample to you by express, you arrange to test sample.
What is your MOQ ?
This Forged grinding media steel ball MOQ is 1 tons per each size, 20 tons per each shipment;
But in order to save the export & transport & shipping charge, each shipment quantiy more than 100 tons , the charge will be less
What is your order Lead-time ?
Order Quantity less than 500 mt, the lead-time is 15-20 days after got deposit;
Order Quantity is 500-2000 mt, the first 500 mt need 15 days, balance will be 30-45 days;
Order Quantity is 2000-50000 mt, first 500 mt need 15 days, balance will be 2000 mt each month;
What is your export product package ?
1.Ton bag , 1000 kg per bag;
2.Metal drum + Wooden pallet, 800-1000 kg per drum, 2 drums on one pallet.
For oversea customer, we will shipping with container ( 20 feet container loading 20-25 mt) , or transport by train with container.
What is your payment term ?
With different order quantity , We accept different payment term as below:
1. 30% T/T in advance, balance T/T before shipment ( Quantiy less than 500 tons);
2. 20% T/T in advance, balance O/A 30-60 days ( Quantiy 500-5,000 tons);
3. 10% T/T in advance, balance O/A 60-180 days ( Quantiy more than 5,000 tons);

#2 FOB Shanghai / Ningbo Port, Container loading cargoes in our factory;
