Grinding media cylpebs (Cylinder) is a kind of media /carrier be used in ball mill in industries of Mining /Cement / AAC (Autoclaved aerated concrete blocks) plant etc, to help crush & mill ore and Sands. grinding media cylpebs shape is cylinder, This shapes grinding efficiency is better than small balls. This grinding cylpebs materials are used chromium alloy steel, chrome alloy material can be : high chrome (10-17% Cr) , super chrome (17-22% Cr), Top chrome (23-28% Cr) and low chrome (1-8% Cr). Top chrome grinding media will the best choose for high hardness mineral such as Lead-Zinc ore and Quartz sand.

1.Lower consumption cost
Because the high chromium grinding cyebsl have higher hardness than forged steel cylpebs, and can be make with different content of Chromium (10-28%), so this kind grinding media comsumtions will be only 25%-65% as forged steel & lower chrome casting cylpebs which be used to Ball mill. For some special mineral which have highest hardness such as Quartz sand, choose Top chromium (Cr: 23-28%) cast grinding meidd, the media consumption cost will be much less than other kinds grinding media.
2.Higher hardness
High Chrome cast grinding media steel cylpebs processing with special heat treatment (Oil quench & annealing), will have highest hardness ( HRC 64- 66). Small size Φ6*6 - Φ30*35 mm casting cylinder hardness can be HRC 66, and Φ30*35 - Φ55*60 mm cast cylpebs hardness can make to HRC64, it’s the highest hardness than other kind material grinding media. And this cast high chome cylpebs surface & core hardness difference less than HRC 2.
3.Customized alloy Steel composition
NGZR foundry can match customer’s required to readjust the Chemical Composition of Chromium content (1.0-30%) and other usdful alloying element such as C /Mn/ Si/ Cu/ Ni/ Mo etc, with special heat-treatment processing, that can make this casting grinding cylpebs got different thechnical paramenters, such as hardness / Impact Value / Breakage and de-shaping rate / micro- structure / high PH degree of acid or alkali resistant / high temperature resistance etc, to match customer’s special requirements
4.Customized grinding media shape
NGZR can develop and make different shape of grinding media as: Grinding ball (Sphere) / Grinding cylpebs ( Cylinder) / Grinding egg ( Ellipsoid) / Polyhedron Shape and other special customized shape. Different shape grinding media will have better grinding effect with different grinding conditions
5.lower breakage & out-of-roundness rate
Depend on controlling raw material quality / advanced casting production equipment & special heat-treatment processing, The high chrome grinding cylpebs product of NGZR have good Physical Property, large size cast grinding media breakage & Out-of-roundness rate will less than 1%; Small size casting ball breakage & Out-of-roundness rate will less than 0.5%

High chrome cast grinding cylpebs is a consumable grinding media, be used to crushl & grinding raw material such as mineral ore block to powder by equipment of Ball mill , The application industries as:
1.Mining
Wildly used to mineral processing for Iron mine/ Copper mine /Gold mine /Sliver mine/ Lead-Zinc mine / Bauxite mine/ Nickel mine / Manganese mine / Chromium mine / Lithium carbonate mine / Graphite mine / Fluoride mine /Quartz mine etc.
2.Cement
Be used to grinding the cement raw materials ( Limestone / Clay/ Iron ore or Steel slag / Coal ore etc) and cement clinker by Ball mill & Roller machine. High chromium grinding media is the best choice for cement plant because the media consumption is very less.
3.Coal-fired power plant
Be used to grinding coal ore of power plant raw material by Ball mill or Roller mill.
4.Concrete & Construction material
AAC (Autoclaved aerated concrete brick) plant used to grinding raw material : sand / Coal ash;

How to select right type /size and quantity of grinding media?
1.Follow the mill size
As usually, if the ball mill machine have larger diameter size , input raw ore with larger size and get higher grinding efficiency, need to select large size grinding cylpebs.
With same diameter size, the cylpebs grinding efficiency will better than Balls, so if you choose small diameter size grinding media for your Ball mill machine, the Cylpebs will better than Balls.
2.Follow the type of mineral and input & output raw ore size
In mining processing plant, one stage grinding used large size grinding ball, the second stage grinding used small size grinding ball or cylpebs, choose high chromium grinding media will get less wear cost and high grinding efficiency.
In cement plant, The first chamber of cement ball mill used large size high chrome grinding cylpebs, the second and the third chamber will used small size high chrome grinding cylinder.
3.First installation loading grindng media size proportioning
For Ball mill first installation , grinding media loading quantity should be 35-45% of whole ball mill loading weight, and the grinding media size will follow mill speed / input mineral size /output size and grinding efficiency to choose.

Please send your sample requirement to us，we will check and confirmed to you within 3 days. Sample quantity less than 3 pcs can be free, but sample express charge & tax fee should be by Freight Collect.
What is your MOQ ?
This high chrome grinding ball MOQ is 1 tons per each size, 20 tons per each shipment; In order to save the export & transport & shipping charge, each shipment quantiy more than 100 tons will be better.
What is your order Lead-time ?
Order Quantity less than 200 mt, the lead-time is 20-30 days after order deposit;
Order Quantity is 200-1000 mt, the first 500 mt need 30-45 days, balance will be 45-60 days;
Order Quantity is 1000-10000 mt, first 500 mt need 30 days, balance will be 2000 mt each month;
What is your export product package ? How to transport ?
Our product export package is ton bag (1 t or 2 t）or metal drum (0.8-1 t), 2 tons on one wooden pallet. For oversea customer, we will shipping with container ( 20 feet container loading 20-25 mt) , or transport by train with container.
What is your payment term ?
With different price & quantity of contract, We accept different payment term as below:
1. 30% T/T in advance, balance T/T before shipment ( Quantiy less than 500 tons);
2. 20% T/T in advance, balance O/A 30-60 days ( Quantiy 500-5,000 tons);
3. 10% T/T in advance, balance O/A 60-180 days ( Quantiy more than 5,000 tons);
What is your price term ? How to loading cargoes?
