Grinding media is a kind of carrier be used in ball mill / SAG mill / Tower mill in industries of Mining /Cement / Coal-fired power plant etc, to help grinding & mill mineral materials.
Grinding ball can make by casting and forging. For the casting mill ball, Their production processing was the liquid steel poured into metallic molds or sand molds after melting. The sand molds be used to make small size ball & cylpebs as Φ6- Φ40 mm，metallic molds be used to make large size ball & cylpebs as Φ40- Φ150 mm;
Now the large size grinding ball manufacturing have two different kind of production, one is casting by hand with metallic mold , another one is casting with Full automatic iron mould casting line.
Metallic mold casting by hand advantage are: Low investment, small work-area, flexible production, was better to make low chromuim grinding ball and grinding cylpebs.

Metallic mold (casting by hand) were small size, light in weight, molds cost is cheap. The reference price is usd 100 - 500 per sets.
Long useful life
This casting metallic mould can used 12-24 months.
Molds can repair
Supplier can repair those iron molds with free when the casting product surface quality is not good, but need buyer arrange to send molds supplier’s workshop and take back by yourself.
Customized casting product size and shap
Suplier can follow customer’s requried to make different size and shape of casting product as: Grinding ball (Sphere) / Grinding cylpebs ( Cylinder) / Grinding egg ( Ellipsoid) / Polyhedron Shape (For exsample: octahedron ) and other special customized shape.

#2 FOB Shanghai / Ningbo Port, Container loading cargoes in our factory;
#3 CIF Port of delivery, Shipping with container by sea;
#4 DAP place of delivery; Transport with container by sea & by train;
